

For more than twenty years, Candace Vargas has captivated audiences with her powerful voice, heartfelt performances, and deep connection to her New Mexico and Tejano roots. A twenty-two-time award winner with the New Mexico Hispano Music Association, her accomplishments include Female Vocalist of the Year, Original Song of the Year, Ranchera of the Year, Cumbia of the Year, and five consecutive Conjunto Song of the Year honors. She is also a proud recipient of the Quince Grandes Award.
Candace's dedication to preserving and evolving Tejano music has earned her multiple Grammy Award considerations and a Tejano Music Awards nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for A Mi Modo.
